  1. Discuss the average deltas patient-based quality control
  2. Explain that virtually all blood tests demonstrate diurnal variation
  3. Describe that for certain analytes within day variation can exceed between day variation
  4. Explain and calculate the standard deviation of duplicates
  5. Discuss that most nonhospitalists Identify opportunities for machine learning in quality assurance
  6. Discuss and be aware of the future informatics needs in the clinical laboratory.
